Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi Anna,
Congratulations on becoming a Mom's Panelist.
What do you recommend for celebrating two birthdays at a character restaurant?
- - Asked by Peter from Ontario on 1/5/2009
- Hi, Peter, and thanks for the question! Birthdays are my favorite things to celebrate at Disney World, and a character meal is a celebration in itself. When you book your advanced dining reservation, let them know that you will be celebrating birthdays - and make sure you tell them it's for two people! Remind them again when you check in at the podium, just so you know it was noted on your reservation.
You can order a celebration cake by calling (407) 827-2253, and when talking with them, have the names of both birthday celebrants added to the cake.
One of my favorite character meals is Chef Mickey's, especially for a birthday! The characters, the music, and the audience participation make it a really special occasion to eat there on a normal day, but it adds a little bit of Disney magic to a birthday!
