Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • This is our very first time going to Disney. We are taking our daughter to celebrate her birthday on Feb 12th. We are wondering when we should start booking the trip. Also on her birthday we want to enjoy the Bibbity Bobbity Boutique. Thanks.

  • Hi, Colin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I’m so happy to hear you’re planning a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort with your little princess! There are so many things you can do to make her birthday trip memorable.

You can actually reserve accommodations at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel up to 499 days in advance by calling (407) W-DISNEY (934-7639). You can currently book rooms through the Walt Disney World website for check-in dates up to and including Dec. 31, 2014, but you must call to reserve dates in 2015 rather than booking online. As of now, you’ll only be able to reserve a hotel room, not packages that include extras like park tickets or the Disney Dining Plan, for dates in 2015. You’d be reserving your room at the 2014 rates, but when the rates and package details for 2015 are released (typically in the late summer) your rate would automatically adjust to reflect the current prices. You can also make a room-only reservation to be converted into a vacation package after next year’s rates are announced.

A visit to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is the perfect way to pamper your birthday girl with the help of a Fairy Godmother-in-training and her magic wand! After selecting from three hairstyle options, your daughter will have a choice of different packages that include makeup and various clothing and accessories to complete her look. Makeovers at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique are very popular, so reservations are strongly encouraged by calling (407) WDW-STYLE or (407) 939-7895.

I hope this information helps, Colin, and that you enjoy a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth with your daughter! I’d love to hear from you again, so please feel free to ask me more questions as you plan your vacation.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
