- Hi Catherine!
Birthdays are so much fun to celebrate in Walt Disney World! As you book your Advanced Dining and Disney Resort Hotel reservations, be sure to add the celebration. Typically the Cast Member will ask you, "Are you celebrating anything special?" If they do not, go ahead and offer the extra note and your reservations will then reflect your family's special occasion!
Here are some other suggestions:
Celebrate in sweet style, by calling the cake hotline with at least 48 hours notice (407) 827-2253, and your cake will be delivered to the Disney Dining location of choice.
Pick up a birthday button either at your front desk of the Disney Resort Hotel or any Guest Relations desk near the entrance of each Disney Park.
Book an Advanced Dining Reservation at a Signature Dining location, such as the Flying Fish Cafe. Booking the Chef's Tasting Wine Dinner will surely mark this special event, with the decadent 5-course prix fixe menu.
Booking a Specialty Cruise is a popular way to celebrate a momentous birthday, whereas customizing the event with private dining or special fireworks viewings is available.
Is he a Lightning McQueen, with a NEED for SPEED? If so, check out the Richard Petty Driving Experience at the Walt Disney World Speedway for a super-charged birthday surprise.
Lastly, check out either a fishing excursion or a round of golf at the award-winning Disney Golf courses.
I hope my suggestions were helpful, Catherine!
