Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi, I'm taking my 9 year old daughter to celebrate her birthday in Walt Disney World parks. My question is: should I buy her a child or adult ticket? We're planning to go to Magic Kingdom at the day of her birthday, and it would be the first park to visit.

  • Hi Uliana!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.  This is a great question!  When planning your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation I would recommend to use the age of your daughter at the beginning of your trip.  Since she will be ten on your first visit into one of the four Theme Parks, I would buy her an adult ticket, as an adult ticket is required for guests aged ten and older.

I hope your daughter has a magical time celebrating her birthday at Walt Disney World Resort.  I can't imagine a better way to spend her special day!  Please let me know if you have any other questions as you continue to plan, I would be happy to help.

    Stephanie
