Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Can I use the riderswitch option, with older children (DD7 and DD10)? My DD10 is a little apprehensive about some rides. My husband rides with DD7 and then I ride with DD7 for certain attractions like space mountain? can you still combine FP/riderswitch?

  • Hi Lisa!

Thank you for submitting your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! The Rider Switch Service is such a great benefit for guests! I use it constantly and have never been disappointed! You can definitely get a rider switch pass if your daughter does not like to ride, The rider switch pass is meant not only for those who do not reach the height requirement but for those who do not like to ride. As for combining the Fastpass and the rider switch, I have been told by the Cast Member that if my party has a Fastpass, they would not need a rider switch pass as it works the same way. The adult that stays behind with the child should have a Fastpass, therefore not needing a rider switch pass.

    Hope this helps!

If I can assist you with any other planning question, please feel free to send them my way! I would be happy to help!

    Have a great trip!

    Yael
