Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
We are visiting florida next week 20th April until 4th May with my 2 children 4yrs and 6yrs.
I am just wondering what the queues will be like in the parks? Would anyone recommend the FASTPASS?
Would anyone recommend certain parts to visit 1st?

- Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel Emma!
Your trip will be here before you know it!
Although I can't guarantee it, I think that you'll be visiting during a great time as far as crowd levels go. We're just finishing up spring break season and the crowd levels will likely be a little thinner before they start picking up just after mid-May for the summer season. The weekends will be a little more crowded because of local visitors. I'd probably avoid Magic Kingdom on the weekends because of that but you'll probably be okay visiting that park any other time.
I love Disney FASTPASS Service and if the wait time is over 15-20 minutes for an attraction, I think you should absolutely take advantage it. Even during seasons when crowd levels are lower, the lines for the most popular attractions like Toy Story Midway Mania! at Disney's Hollywood Studios or Soarin' at Epcot are still pretty long. Here's an explanation of how Disney's FASTPASS Service works.
I would probably start with Disney's Hollywood Studios on Sunday, 4-21-2013. There are a lot of fun attractions for your kids' ages and tons of character meet and greets so they'll start their Disney vacation with a lot of fun. There are also 2 shows of Fantasmic! that evening.
On Monday, 4-22-2013, you may want to visit Animal Kingdom to celebrate Earth Day. Another good option may be Epcot which may be a little less crowded than Animal Kingdom. If you don't need a break from the parks on Tuesday, 4-23-2013, I'd head to the Magic Kingdom that day.
Please feel free to visit again with any other questions. We'll be hEAR for you up until you embark on your pixie dusted trail!
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
