Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I need any advice that you can give on taking young children to Disney! 2 year old and 5 year old! I think we are going to stay in Wilderness Cabins, has anyone stayed there?

  • I have stayed at the Fort Wilderness cabins, KaLeigh, and I think it's a perfect resort choice for families with young children.  One of the nice things about the cabins is that they include a full kitchen, which can be a big plus when traveling with little ones.  You can take full advantage of your kitchen and eat in on those nights (or mornings or afternoons for that matter) when the kids have had their fill of restaurants.  Another perk is that the cabins offer a separate bedroom, meaning you can put them to bed at a decent hour while you stay up and unwind with a book or in front of the TV.  Lastly, your kids will likely appreciate the fun recreational opportunities at Fort Wilderness, including the pony rides and paved walking trails.  Enjoy your stay!
