Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi - I have the Premier annual pass. I am not able to link it in My Disney Experience - website tech support is working on it for me. My question is - is it required to have pass/tix linked to to the reservation to be able to book FastPass+? Thx!

  • Hi Leslie,

I'm sending you a virtual high five because my family has the Premier Passports as well!

Unfortunately, I'm also waiting to link my Premier Passports to my account in My Disney Experience. I have a Walt Disney World vacation coming up and I was told that I wouldn't be able to book any FastPass+ selections at this time. Bummer!

However, I do have some good news to report!

First off, I was told that I should ask the cast members upon checking-in at my resort hotel if they can assist with the FastPass+ selections. I haven't had the chance to speak to any other guests who have gone through that experience yet, but at least it's a glimmer of hope!

Secondly, I was actually able to book one day's worth of FastPass+ selections because I have tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. Evidently, the My Disney Experience system is setup now to allow guest with tickets to special events to make FastPass+ selections for a single day.

Lastly, I was told that this round of Beta testing for My Disney Experience, the MagicBands, and FastPass+ is slated to go through the end of November. Afterwards, it's possible that some new enhancements will be made. So, let's keep our fingers crossed that one of those enhancements will be functionality to include the Premier Passports in My Disney Experience!

(I've been told that the roadblock for the Premier Passports relates to the fact that Disneyland is not setup for the MagicBand and FastPass+ systems yet.)

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

Make sure you've subscribed to the Disney Parks Blog because that's where you'll find the latest updates on the expansions of the FastPass+ system.

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
