Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I will be going to the world with the family for 11 days. How do I get an 11 day park hopper?
  • - Asked by Scott from New York on 6/5/2008
  • Hi there Scott! The Walt Disney World website only goes up to 10 days and for good reason. And would you believe it's most likely to save you money! I know. You are shaking your head and saying, "It can't be!" But it's true!

The main reason why the passes are sold up to 10 days is that is most likely more cost effective to purchase a Walt Disney World Annual Pass, than a 10+ day pass. There is a simple math formula that shows that if you go over a certain amount of days purchased, the Annual Pass is the best option. Don't ask me about the formula. I married a man with an incredibly high IQ, just so I wouldn't have to balance my own checkbook!

On the website,, there is a great cost comparison chart that shows when changing your ticket to an Annual Pass should be done. The rule of thumb is that if you are buying more than 10 days per year, ding, ding, ding! Buy an Annual Pass. They are good for an entire year, so if you return just one week earlier for your next vacation, it is almost like getting the next vacation's tickets for free. Plus, Annual Passholders get offered great discounts on resorts, dining and special events.

So check out and the Disney Annual Pass webpage and see what works best for you and your family!

    Have a magical trip!
