Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • We are planning at trip to WDW this August. I would like to purchase our tickets in advance. We are planning on spending 6 days in Orlando and 4-5 days at WDW. Should we purchase the no expiration option for our tickets?

  • Hi Priscilla! I think that you should buy only the tickets you will need for your trip. In general, the two days on either end of your trip are eaten up by coming from or going to the airport. Unless you have an extremely early arrival flight and a very late departure flight, you don't go to the parks on your travel days.

If you are arriving and leaving midday, I would purchase a 4 or 5 day ticket without the expiration option. If you are planning on a visiting non-Disney theme park one day, shave of that day and purchase a 3 day ticket.

I'm not a big fan of the 'no expiration' option. The pricing matrix is here for more information. It is my experience that it is better to purchase wisely tickets you will need for that trip.

    Have a magical time!
