Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I am purchasing a Florida resident seasonal pass now so that I can set up our fastpass..etc... but our vacation isn't until MAY...is it correct that my pass will not start until the first day we enter Disney...(MAY) and expire in MAY and not exp in march?

  • Hi Kathryn,

You are correct. Your pass year will begin on the first day you use the tickets, not on the date of purchase. I just did this myself with our Florida Resident Seasonal Passes. I made the purchase online in early January and set up our monthly payments. I used the code from our electronic vouchers to add our tickets to our My Disney Experience account so that we could book FastPass+ reservations for our visit that began February 7.

As soon as we reached Walt Disney World, we visited a ticket booth to show our Florida identification and activate the passes. It took just a few minutes and the passes were instantly linked to our MagicBands. The passes expire on February 7, 2015.

I hope you enjoy your Florida Resident Seasonal Passes as much as my family does. We've been seasonal passholders since 1997, so we obviously think it's a great deal! Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you now or throughout your pass year.

    Wilma
