Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Help! We want to see Fantasmic, but I don't understand the seating. We have the option of getting a Fastpass for Fantasmic - but we would have to lose a FP for Toy Story! If they run out of seats, is there standing room or will we be turned away?

- Hi Kirsten,
I do indeed have help for you! My recommendation is to keep your Toy Story Midway Mania FastPass+'s. This is one of the most popular attractions in Hollywood Studios and having a FastPass+ is so helpful with your park touring.
Fantasmic! is an amazing nighttime show and is one that I highly recommend. There are other ways to insure you are able to experience it without eliminating your Toy Story Midway Mania FastPass+. The seating for Fantasmic! is quite large. If you arrive 90 minutes prior to show schedule you will be sure to find a nice seat. Personally I don't mind sitting in an amphitheater waiting for a show because it's an enjoyable way to unwind and have a snack, etc... Conversely, waiting in a line that long becomes weary to me.
Another option, and my personal favorite, is to reserve Fantasmic! Dining Package. Follow this link to make your reservations. You have the choice of making either lunch or supper reservations at the following restaurants: Hollywood & Vine, The Hollywood Brown Derby, or Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano. You will receive a voucher at your meal to access a special reserved seating area for Fantasmic! approximately 20-30 minutes prior to show time. However, please understand that you must make special reservations for this Fantasmic! Dining Package. Simply having a reservation at these restaurants will NOT entitle you to the voucher for the special seating.
I hope this information helps you. Please write back should you have any more questions. I would love to help you in any way I can!
