Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
We will be traveling with my 8 and 5 year old in May. Not really sure which Fast Pass to choose. We are doing a 5 day hopper pass. Which Fast Pass do you recommend getting? Having a hard time with the concept of choosing them even before we travel.

- Hi Elsa!
Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I have children similar in ages to yours, and it is hard to know what attractions to choose if this is your first visit. The good news is that you can make changes to your FastPass+ selections while you are in the theme parks with the My Disney Experience App or at a FastPass+ kiosk. So while you may be guessing right now, once you get a better idea what your children like when you get to Walt Disney World, you do have plenty of flexibility!
I'll give you my picks, just as a reference. I would choose these based on my kids' preferences as well as which rides traditionally have the longest wait times.
Magic Kingdom- Peter Pan's Flight, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, and Princess Fairytale Hall:Meet Rapunzel and a Visiting Princess.
Epcot-Test Track, Turtle Talk With Crush, Spaceship Earth
Disney's Hollywood Studios-Toy Story Mania, Star Tours:The Adventures Continue, The Twilight Zone:Terror of Terror
Disney's Animal Kingdom- Kilimanjaro Safaris Expedition, Finding Nemo:The Musical, Kali River Rapids
These picks are also based on whether your 5-year-old is tall enough for some of the bigger thrill rides. I left some of them out, because my 5-year-old is on the smaller side. My children are also girls, so they like princesses and shows. I recommend making selections based on your family's preferences. Princesses vs. Pirates. Thrill Rides vs. Mild Rides. Parades vs. Attractions.
I hope this helps! Have fun with making your FastPass+ selections and don't worry; nothing is set in stone. May is one of my favorite months to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with Epcot's International Flower & Garden Festival and Star Wars Weekends. Have a magical, fantastical vacation!
