Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Can I link an upcoming trip to an old Magic Band that is already linked to my annual pass or do I have to shut off that Magic Band and receive a new one for the next trip? It would seem terribly wasteful if I make more than one trip a year to WDW.

  • Hi Carla!

Yes, you can use your Magic Bands from a previous Walt Disney World vacation to get into a Walt Disney World Theme Park as long as you have linked your Annual Passes to them through My Disney Experience online or on your mobile phone. The battery inside the Magic Band is supposed to last for up to two years so you can use your Magic Band for more than one Wlat Disney World vacation.  You can have more than one Magic Band active on your My Disney Experience account (I currently have four Magic Bands active on My Disney Experience account and my Annual Pass is linked to each one of them so that I can use any of the four Magic Bands to enter a park in Walt Disney World).  If you choose to deactivate your Magic Band on My Disney Experience, then it would not work for entrance into a theme park until you activated it again online.

I hope that your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation is truly magical in every way!

    Keep Dreaming Big!
    Marc
