Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My parents are planning an impromptu trip in 2 weeks. I have heard that animal kingdom no longer offers paper fast passes. Is this true? If so, how would one be able to access a fast pass if they purchase their ticket at the park?

- Christina, how exciting and wonderful for your parents- a spontaneous trip to visit Mickey!
Just as Mary Poppins flew in to bring fun and order to the Banks' household, FastPass+ has arrived in Disney's Animal Kingdom bringing shorter queues and reserved seating. The FastPass+ only program at Animal Kingdom is labeled a test so conditions could be different by the time your folks arrive, but currently the legacy FastPass machines are covered and not in commission.
For guests without MagicBands who are not making advance plans through My Disney Experience, kiosks are available to reserve FastPasses. Almost half a dozen spots are located throughout the park staffed with helpful Cast Members who will assist your parents to secure times for a trip on Expedition Everest, a safari across the bush, or a seat to enjoy a musical. Your mom and dad may simply tap their ticket at the kiosk to access the program. Once their selections are made, an email will arrive in their inbox listing the FastPass+ attractions and times. A quick pic of the screen with a phone or digital camera is also a good idea.
