  • Hi, Kristi!  The first thing I'd consider is what type of vacation you like to have.  If you are someone that hits the parks early and enjoys running right into line for your favorite attractions, I'd say you might enjoy having the FastPasses to use for things like preferred fireworks or parade viewing, lunch at Be Our Guest, or even for those rides that you may enjoy but sometimes pass up because by the time you get to them, the lines are longer than you care to wait.

If you would prefer a vacation where you can arrive a little later so you can sleep in, have a leisurely breakfast, or maybe even hit the pool before the theme parks, then choose options that will definitely have a longer line later in the day, where the old style FastPass would typically be gone already.  For my family, those would be Toy Story Midway Mania, Soarin', Splash Mountain, Test Track, and those types of attractions.

As this is your seventh trip, you'll probably know which attractions are must do things with your family, and I would consider those, and how long the lines are by the time you get to them.  Also, a big time saver if your kids still enjoy character meet and greets, check out the FastPass options to meet the characters.  It will free up some time for other attractions!

    Have a wonderful vacation!
