  • We are going to Disney in March for a cheer competition at WW of Sports do you think I need to buy tickets in advance or can I buy them at the hotel (DIS Sports Hotel) when we get there? Also do you know if there is transportation from the hotel to WW?

  • Hi Rachel!

You must be so excited to be heading to Walt Disney World and ESPN Wide World of Sports this month!  There are two Cheer & Dance Competitions being held in March.  Since I am not sure which event you are attending I did research on both!

The UCA/UDA International All-Star Championship being held on March 9-10 does offer travel packages through the UCA/UDA link above and will provide you with the tickets you need to get into the complex, and bus transportation from your resort.

The AmeriCheer/AmeriDance International Championships being held March 16-17 offers travel packages through AmeriCheer/AmeriDance.  If you are not purchasing a package, you have two tickets options.   Option 1 -  A 3, 4, or 5 day discounted Disney theme park ticket which includes admission into competition venues.  Option 2 - Tickets will be available for purchase on -site at Disney's All-Star Sports Resort in Celebrity Hall.  Tickets will also be available at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Box office for $40 per person per day starting on March 15.  Bus transportation will be provided from the resort to the competition venue if you booked a package.

Have a wonderful time and good luck!
    ~Angie
