  • Second part of Wide World of Sports ?. How do resort guests get there? I am confused about where to get a bus and how often they run etc. Any help would be appreciated!

  • Hi Kay:

Disney World provides its Resort Guests various methods of complimentary transportation, such as bus, monorail, and boat, to destinations across Walt Disney World property.  If you don't have a car, to travel directly to the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex via Disney transportation, you can take a bus from the following Resorts:
    • Pop Century
    • Caribbean Beach Resort
    • All-Star Resorts

Transportation begins one hour prior to the start of competition and ends 45 minutes after the completion of the last event.

If you are not staying at one of the Resorts listed above, you can take a bus to one of the Resorts and transfer to the ESPN Wide World of Sports bus.  In general, buses are scheduled to depart about every 20 minutes.  However, if you are anything like me and want to ensure you'll arrive on time and avoid a bus transfer, you can take a taxi.  Taxis are generally waiting outside of Resorts or your Resort concierge can help arrange one for you.

    Enjoy your vacation.
