Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- This spring our trip will coincide with a couple Braves spring training games. Is it worth time out of the parks to visit WWoS? We've never ventured over before and 6yr old seems underwhelmed but hubby is pumped. hmmm.

- Hi, Cherith! Whether you include plans to attend a Braves'
game within your WDW vacation really depends upon: (1) how long you'll be at WDW; (2) your transportation needs; and (3) how much your sports fan really wants to go! We went last spring, and everyone in my
group thoroughly enjoyed it. We certainly didn't feel like it was
taking away from our WDW experience since we were there all week. The
advantage you'll have is that the WWofS complex is undergoing a
renovation and will have just reopened when
you're there. The facility is truly wonderful and worth the time to
see it and the Braves in action, too!
Transportation to/from the complex depends upon the resort where
you're staying. Some resorts (such as the All Star, Caribbean Beach and Pop Century resorts) have direct bus
transportation available. However, if you have your car, the complex has complimentary self parking. You'll probably want to look at the WWofS Complex site to order tickets from the Braves online. Also, we found the concessions at the stadium to be good, but it is ballpark food (hot dogs, nachos, etc.), and unless the restaurant there is part of the upgrade, I wouldn't plan on dining there. I would've preferred a night game - we roasted in the heat of the day -- and I would've ordered the least expensive tickets since we had a couple of little ones that didn't care where we sat. Lastly, don't forget to wait until the end of the game and let your little guy run the bases. Bring your glove!
Have a wonderful day, a magical vacation and go Braves!
