Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My husband and son would like to visit WWOS to watch an Atlanta Braves spring training game while we are at WDW. How do they get there from our resort, and if they are paying for tickets to the event, do they have to pay any other fees?

- Hi, Amy! Transportation to/from the Wide World of Sports complex depends upon the resort where you're staying. Some resorts (such as the All Star, Caribbean Beach and Pop Century resorts) have direct bus transportation available. However, if you have a car, the complex has complimentary self-parking, and of course, taxies are available at any resort lobby and at the entrance of WWoS. My suggestion would be to consult your resort concierge once you arrive on the best route and method of transportation from your particular resort.
You do not need an additional ticket nor will you incur an additional entrance fee with your paid Atlanta Braves' spring training game tickets. You'll definitely want to look at the WWofS Site to view the complex and to obtain the link to the Atlanta Braves' site where you'll pre-purchase your tickets. As a hint, I would've preferred a night game...we roasted at a mid-afternoon game! Also, I would've purchased the least expensive seats since our guys were more interested in catching fly balls than sitting in the "good seats." At WWoS, Champion Stadium is such a well laid-out stadium that there really isn't a bad seat, and make sure you bring your camera! I got some great, up-close shots of players from where I was sitting. Lastly, if your son is young, you'll want to stay until the end of the game when they let kids run the bases! Have a wonderful day, a magical vacation...and Go Braves!
