Are there any special requirments for a cruise to the carribean?
- - Asked by Sandra on 9/11/2013
- Welcome aboard, Sandra! You must have a magical Disney Caribbean cruise in your future! With so much to offer on each of their ships, Disney Cruise Line is the perfect vacation for your whole family!
A "closed-loop" cruise from the US to the Caribbean and back requires US citizens to provide either their US passport or driver's license and birth certificate. Children can travel with just their birth certificate on this same closed-loop cruise. That being said, if your family has passports, or has time to get them before you set sail, I'd highly recommend doing so.
My family always travels with our passports, as we like to play it safe just in case of some unlikely unforseen circumstance. Check out the benefits to cruising with a passport on Disney Cruise Line's website.
You may also want to view the "Preparing for your Cruise" page on Disney Cruise Line's website, where you can browse other ideas of what to pack for your exciting sailing!
Don't forget to check out the amazing Port Adventures that Disney offers in each Caribbean Port! Your family is in for such a wonderful vacation, Sandra! Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
