Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- hello, we leave on Sunday on the Dream! So excited! We are big water drinkers, is there bottled water available all the time? Are they free?
- - Asked by Elsa on 4/22/2013
- Welcome aboard, Elsa! Wow, Sunday is coming so soon, I bet you are getting very excited to set sail!
Disney Cruise Line does allow guests to carry on their own beverages (including bottled water or alcohol) should they choose to. As long as you bring it on with your carry-on bags, and not in checked luggage, you are free to bring sealed, unopened beverages. However, my family, who are big water drinkers too, never feel the need to bring our own or purchase the bottled water onboard. The water system on the ship filters the water very well and we find the taste of the tap water onboard to be great! Now, that's saying a lot from me, because I even taste water differences in different states, especially near the beach. But, the ship water on Disney ships has always been great for me.
I usually bring my own sports bottle to fill up throughout the day around the ship so I always have my water with me when I want it. Bottled water is available throughout the ship, in the restaurants and from room service, but at an additional cost. Grab a couple cute fun water bottles for everyone in your family and pack those in your luggage and you should be all set onboard. It's nice to have a your own sports bottle handy for other drink fill-ups at the beverage stations onboard too.
I hope that information helps as you finish up those last minute plans before you head out to sea this weekend, Elsa! Have a magical cruise on the Dream!
