Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are going to Alaska in June on Wonder. I just booked Yukon expedition, best of Juneau, and Bering sea crab fishermen's tour. Anyone went on these tours before? I have a 15 years boy and a 9 years girl. Will you recommend other port activities? Thanks

- Welcome aboard, Staci! Your family must be getting so excited to set sail to the great north this summer with Disney Cruise Line!
Both of those adventures are wonderful, and you certainly can't go wrong with either of those, Staci. I also love to recommend the Port Adventures that feature Exclusive Youth Activities. These are my favorites, as Disney Cruise Line not only takes the whole family to experience the culture and history of the port of call, but they also include a unique opportunity for the kids to experience it hands on! Check out the Totems, Exclusive Lumberjack Show and Potlatch Park Featuring Exclusive Youth Activity adventure in Ketchikan. Your kids, especially your nine-year old will delight in designing their own feather to be featured on a totem for Disney Cruise Line's guests. Your teenager will love the lumberjack show, which even gets some guests in on the act!
Also, the Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake with Exclusive Disney Character Experience is a popular one too! It's a really unique and exciting way to get some local culture and keep the Disney fun continuing while you're in Skagway.
Honestly, Staci, no matter which Disney Port Adventure you choose, your family is in for a real treat. Just pick the ones that include things that interest your family and you can't go wrong! Have fun as you plan! And if you haven't already, be sure to check out the Disney Cruise Line Alaska video series hosted by our fellow Disney Cruise Line Mom, Nancy!
