Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We're staying at the Shades of Green hotel after our Disney cruise. The Disney Cruise bus doesn't go to Shades of Green. What are some reputable shuttle services in the area? Don't want to rent a car. How do I know what time to have them pick us up
- - Asked by Greg from Virginia on 3/2/2014
- Welcome aboard, Greg! If you're staying at Shades of Green before you depart on your Disney Cruise, I have a feeling that must mean that you have served in our armed forces. First of all, let me thank you for your service! We are fortunate to have dedicated American citizens like you!
Since you're looking to book private shuttle transportation to Port Canaveral, I highly recommend you call Mears Transportation. In fact, they are the company that Disney partners with to provide ground transportation, so they are very trustworthy. You may pull up their website to research their different options and give them a call for even more specifics. Normally, if you book online you'll receive a discounted rate.
When you are 75 days from departure, you'll be able to log into your cruise reservation to complete your online check-in. During that time, you'll be selecting a port arrival time. Simply let your transportation company know about your port arrival time and they can suggest a pick up time for you. From the Walt Disney World Resort area, it takes about 45 minutes to an hour to arrive at the port, so that should give you a a good starting point.
I hope that helps as you continue planning. Please stop back if you have any other questions about your cruise before you set sail! I'm happy to help!
