- Sailing on Magic in Jan, booking port adventures in 2 days! What happens if it rains on the day of our adventures? Are we refunded? And do they all sell out or could we just decide to do them on the day? Looking specifically at Castaway Cay.

- Welcome back, Mindy! When the time comes to book your Port Adventures, it is always exciting, as it means that you're not that far off from setting sail!
I'll cross my fingers for you that rain won't be an issue when you're heading out on your Port Adventures, but in the Bahamas and Caribbean, sometimes there are light showers during the day. In my experience, they pass quickly, so that is a plus!
However, if you were to arrive to severe weather, safety is always first and foremost and there is a chance that the adventures could be cancelled, meaning guests would be refunded or not charged for that cost. However, a light rain won't cancel an adventure most of the time, and as I said, those showers tend to pass quickly.
I highly recommend booking your Port Adventures as soon as possible before setting sail, as some are very popular and will sell out. Once onboard, if you decide to do another adventure, simply stop by the Port Adventures desk and check on availability. Castaway Cay's adventures such as snorkel gear rentals, float rentals and bike rentals are almost always available once on the island by simply walking up to Gils' Fins and Boats or Flippers and Floats if you suddenly decide to participate. However, if you're considering a more involved adventure on the island such as Castaway Ray's Stingray Adventure, I'd pre-book that for sure, as there is limited availability on some of those other adventures, Mindy.
I hope that helps! Just a couple more months until you get to board the Magic for an amazing cruise! Let me know how else I can help!
