Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • My family and I are going on a Disney cruise in June and wanted to go parasailing, but was wondering if its better to go in morning or afternoon?

  • Welcome aboard, Jessica! What a great way to begin your summer: setting sail with Disney on a magical cruise! I bet you are getting excited!

Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures are wonderful ways to spend a day in port. When you book with Disney, you ensure that Disney Cruise Line will take care of all of the details, so all you need to do is show up and enjoy your time! If you're considering parasailing in one of the ports, there most likely will be set times from which to choose, so once you are ready to book, there might only be one or two options left, so that decision might be made for you. However, if you have both a morning and afternoon choice, you really can't go wrong.

On Castaway Cay, there is so much to do and see. Since it looks like you're considering parasailing there, I'd probably recommend the afternoon time for that adventure. My family likes to get off the ship first thing in the morning to choose a great spot on the beach before it gets too busy. Then we spend the day exploring, wandering and relaxing. If I were to book a parasailing adventure, I'd enjoy spending some down time in the morning before setting off on that adventure.

It's really up to you, Jessica, but I hope that information helps a bit. Have fun continuing to plan your cruise. Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
