Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Can you tell us a bit more about Castaway Cay activities? Also do people get sea sick with Disney Dream? Thanks!

Ahoy, Wen Hao! Castaway Cay is my family's favorite port of call on the Disney Cruise Line! Castaway Cay is a Bahamian island paradise offering the magical Disney-touch! Your family will have the opportunity to experience myriad tropical leisure activities and Disney-style port adventures such as:

    1. Disney Characters Greeting opportunities, including a dance party with Lilo and Stitch!
    2. Water Play Areas: Pelican Plunge; Spring-a-Leak; and the whimsically themed 1200-square-foot fresh-water soft deck area in Scuttle's Cove.
    3. Kayaking, snorkeling, glass bottom boat tours, fishing, Castaway Rays Stingray Adventure, Parasailing, and several other water sports activities.
    4. Pristine Family Beach completely outfitted for premium family leisure. Adults-only Serenity Bay Beach.
    5. Open-air massages with an ocean-view.
    6. Private cabana rentals (read more HERE).
    7. Rent bicycles and discover the offshore paths as you pedal your way around the island.
    8. Shopping for exclusive Castaway Cay-items and merchandise at She Sells Sea Shells... and Everything Else or Buy the Sea Shore.

I've cruised on the Disney Dream, the Disney Wonder, and the Disney Magic and never once experienced getting seasick. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Enjoy a most memorable Disney cruise. Bon Voyage!
