  • Hi my husband and I are going on the 4 day Disney Dream for the first time with our three year old daughter, so excited!. I was wondering what activities that would be good for her.

  • Ahoy, Anna!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I'm happy to help with your plans!

You're going to love sailing with Captain Mickey aboard the Disney Dream. It's such a beautiful ship, and there are plenty of activities for you and your young princess to enjoy.

If it's water fun you're looking for, the Dream has lots of splashtacular areas for you. If your little one is potty-trained, Mickey's Pool is the place to be! A 2-foot-deep main pool with Mickey's face on the bottom, it's perfect for the littlest swimmers. If your princess is still in swim diapers, Nemo's Reef water play area is an awesome splash zone for her to enjoy. Complimentary pool vests are available for you onboard.

The Youth Clubs on the Disney Dream are a wonderful place for little cruisers to participate in some fun activities with very attentive Youth Counselors. The Oceaneer Club/Lab is for kids 3-12, and has special themed areas such as Andy's Room (from Toy Story), Monsters, Inc., and Pixie Hollow. Children enjoy story time, art activities, and even visits from beloved characters! You'll receive a detailed schedule each day, called a Personal Navigator. Simply check the schedule to see which activities she's most interested in, and you can check her in and out as often as you like.

When looking at Port Adventures on the Disney Cruise Line website, you can narrow your search by type (Family Adventures) and age range (3 to 4) to see which adventures would be fun and age-appropriate for your daughter. When you visit Castaway Cay, make sure to check out Spring-A-Leak, a 2,400 sq. ft. water play area with jets and fountains - the perfect spot to cool off and have some fun.

There's so much to do, I wish I had more room to write! Hope this helps! - Diane W.
