Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- which ship offers the most activities for children 9 years old
- - Asked by Jennifer from Ohio on 12/31/2013
- Welcome aboard, Jennifer! And ahoy from another Ohio mom! With chilly weather like we're having in Ohio right now, it sure makes me ready to set sail on the warm waters of the Caribbean and Bahamas with Disney!
The answer to your question about which ship offers the most activities for 9-year olds is : ALL of Disney's ships! If you haven't already, be sure to check out Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab on each of the four ships. These are the spaces for kids ages 3 - 12, where your 9-year old would love to spend time. Each one has different spaces within those clubs. My kids love Andy's Room, Monster's Academy and Pixie Hollow as well as the pirate themed Lab on the Dream and Fantasy. The Wonder has a fun pirate themed Club complete with pirate ship structure and slide! In the Lab on the Wonder, you'll feel like you're in science class with lab tables, lots of computers, a craft area and more. Now, the Magic was just re-imagined and is now sailing with brand new spaces for kids. If your child likes superheroes, he or she won't want to miss out on Avenger's Academy in the Club, where kids can virtually try on Iron Man's suit, enroll with the Avengers and even meet Captain America himself!
All four ships offer many of the same activities for kids, including Flubber making, Ratatouille Cooking School, Toy Story Boot Camp, Mouseketeer Training, Eggsperiments, pajama parties, animation classes, storytime with princesses, dance parties and more. Check out more of the Kids' Activities that are in store on all of the ships.
No matter which ship you choose, Jennifer, your whole family is in for one very magical vacation! Please let me know if I can help with anything else as you continue to plan!
