  • Hi Cruise specialists! Which is a good night to book Palo on Fantasy Eastern sailing 03/08/14? Don`t want the kids to miss any other special nights. Thanks.

  • Welcome back to the Moms Panel, Linda! I'm really happy to hear that you're looking to book a dinner at my favorite restaurant Palo. The food there is amazing but the relaxing, upscale, elegant atmosphere with top notch service is what makes the meal even more special. You'll really enjoy your experience there! Be sure to try to hot chocolate souffle. It is my favorite!

Since the first three nights of your cruise will see you rotating through all three of the main dining restaurants, I usually recommend you wait to dine at Palo after you've experienced the other spots. Sure, you'll visit them again, but the first time you are assigned Animator's Palate is the show night and you really don't want to miss that!

Pirate Night should be Tuesday night after you've enjoyed a fun day in St. Maarten, so don't plan Palo that night. That leaves you with a few good options: Nights five, six or seven. I'd probably recommend Thursday night, your night at sea, as this will be Semi-Formal night in the main dining restaurants. Since Palo has a strict dress code, you'll need to be dressed up anyway, so that's a nice night to dine there. You'll still have another night to get fancy in the main restaurants, as Formal Night will be that Sunday, your first night at sea.

I hope that information helps as you plan your night at Palo, Linda! Let me know how I can help with anything else before you set sail this spring!
