  • Ahoy Scott!
A February Fantasy sailing sounds just wonderful! It won't be too much longer before you hear the magical words, "Welcome Aboard" as you enter the stunning three-story Grand Lobby Atrium on the Disney Fantasy!
On our past three cruises we have chosen second seating and taken advantage of the "Dine & Play" option.  We usually don't eat at 8:15 at home, but we enjoy seeing the early show and then getting ready for dinner in between the two.  You don't need to sign up for the program, but you will want to http://disneyparks.disney.go.com/let your servers know that your kids will be participating once you sit down.  Once they know they are dining and playing, they will expedite their meals so they will be ready when the counselors arrive.  They usually arrive around 9:15 and will walk through the dining room in their bright yellow shirts to pick up all the children who wish to go play.
If you choose to dine in Palo and/or Remy, your children will have a few options for their meal.  First, the youth spaces offer lunch and dinner each day.  If your kiddos are checked in during that time, they will be able to enjoy their meal there.  The meals are only offered at specified times so be sure to check your daily cruise newsletter, the Personal Navigator so you are aware of the exact  times. Another option is to feed them up on the pool deck at the quick service eateries at Flo's Cafe.  They have a great selection of burgers, chicken, paninis, hot dogs, and more.  Your cruise newsletter will have operating times so be sure to check this when making your plans.  The final option is to order them their food via room service which is available 24 hours a day.  They can eat in your stateroom while you get ready for your adult-only dining experience.
I hope my answers are helpful, Scott!  Thank you for stopping by the Moms Panel with questions!
    Have a magical day!
    Nancy
