Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hello! We will be taking our first disney cruise on 12/31 on the Disney Wonder. We will be taking a 4 night cruise. I was wondering if there is a Character breakfast and also if New Year's eve would be the optional dress-up (formal) night? Thanks

  • Welcome aboard, Edith! You must be looking forward to ringing in the New Year with Captain Mickey and his friends about the Disney Wonder! What a great way to start 2014!

The attire for your particular sailing will be as follows:
Night 1: (New Year's Eve) Formal Night
    Night 2: Cruise Casual
Night 3: Pirate Night (or cruise casual)
    Night 4: Cruise Casual

Elegant evening attire is appropriate for the big New Year's Eve dinner and celebrations on your first night, Edith. Men can wear suits, jackets, ties with a dress shirt or even go all out with a tuxedo. Women can wear dresses, pant suits, other other formal or semi-formal wear. Children can dress nicely at the discretion of their parents.

Did you know that the Youth Activities spaces will be open until 2:00 a.m. that night so that kids can enjoy even more New Year's Eve fun while the parents are off at one of a variety of parties and events around the ship? It's sure to be a spectacular celebration, Edith! Have fun as you continue to plan and please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
