  • Dream May 2013 2 Adults-we will sit with famliies or couples or alone? How dressy if semi formal night? what is Pirate Night?

  • Hi Denise!
Thanks for writing back! If you and your husband want to sit alone in the dining room or want to be seated with others, I would give Disney Cruise Line a call and have them note your request on your reservation. A Cruise Reservation Agent can be reached at (800) 951-3532.
I love getting all dressed up on "dress-up" night onboard, but you will see a variety of formal attire on your Dream sailing.  Mickey will look dapper in his tuxedo, and Minnie will sparkle in her full-length gown, but you don't need to be that fancy if you don't want!  A dress or pantsuit for you and a nice pair of slacks and button-down shirt for your husband will work fine too!
Pirate Night is an evening filled with pirate themed entertainment!  Festivities include a Caribbean-themed dinner, a pirate deck party lead by Capt. Mickey, pirate games, pirate buffet, and my personal favorite, the Buccaneer Blast, a firework spectacular! Many Guests like to dress in their pirate attire that they have either brought from home or purchased onboard at Mickey's Mainsail.  All the events will be listed in your Personal Navigator, the daily cruise newsletter, so be sure to keep it handy so you don't miss out on a swashbuckling good time!
I hope my answers help, Denise!  It is always great to hear from you so please write back if you think of any other cruise questions!
    Have a magical day!
    Nancy
