  • We are going on our first cruise by the end of this week. What is the dress code for the 4 nights Disney Dream Cruise?
  • - Asked by Choi from New Jersey on 7/26/2011

  • Hi, Choi!

Congratulations on your cruise this week on the beautiful Disney Dream -- she is a stylish and spectacular ship!

For a 4-night cruise to the Bahamas on the Disney Dream, there are two "cruise casual" nights -- which means no shorts, tank tops or swimwear in the main three dining restaurants.  There is one "pirate" night -- where you'll see eye patches, bandanas and even full piratical regalia! One night is an optional "dress up" night where men usually don a sport coat or jacket and women wear dresses or pantsuits.  Kids attire is expected to fall in line with suggestions for the adults.

For adult-only dining at Palo or Remy:

Men: Dress pants and collared shirt or jacket (Palo); tuxedo or jacket (sports or suit jacket) required with dress pants, and ties are optional (Remy).

Women: Dress or pantsuit (Palo); cocktail dress, pant suit or skirt/blouse is required (Remy).

No jeans, shorts, capri pants, flip-flops or tennis shoes are allowed at Palo or Remy.  I hope this helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage,

    Andi
