Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hello, We are on the Disney Dream cruise in December. We have a group of 9, with 3 different confirmation numbers. When we do our online check-in and get our boarding group number, is there a way to coordinate this so we get to board as a group? Thanks!

  • Welcome aboard, Gay! I see that you'll be traveling from Ohio to set sail on the Disney Dream! I live in Ohio too, and I know that come December, you'll be wanting to escape the cold up north and head south for a magical cruise in the warm Bahamian waters! I bet you are really looking forward to this vacation!

When your online check-in window opens (75 prior to sailing for first time Disney Cruise Line guests), I'd suggest coordinating a time to check in with the other families in your party. During online check-in, you will not choose your boarding number as this is given to guests during check in at the port. But you will choose your port arrival time during online check-in. Hopefully you can all choose the same port arrival time, arrive together and be assigned close boarding numbers at the port. Since the agents at the port call the boarding numbers fairly close together, even if you end up with say, 23, and your friends get 25, it's easy enough to wait those extra few minutes and have everyone board when 25 is called. Then it'll be time to set foot onto the Dream for the first time as the Cast Members announce your family name and applaud your arrival! What a magical way to begin your cruise!

I hope that helps as you count down the last few months until you head out to sea with Captain Mickey! Please let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail, Gay!
