Disney Cruise Line®
The Disney Parks Moms Panel answers your questions about Disney Cruise Line® .
Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are doing a land/sea vacation in October. Can we have wine we buy at the epcot wine festival sent directly to the ship?
- - Asked by Terri on 8/24/2009
- I would suggest carrying the wine with you.
It is my understanding that as of February 2009, new regulations are in place as to what items can be shipped to the Disney Cruise Line warehouse and then delivered to the ship. Liquor of any kind is prohibited from being sent to the ship.
Alcohol is allowed on board. You must hand-carry it rather than placing it in your checked luggage. You may also bring your own alcoholic beverages to dinner. If you request the Wine Steward to uncork and serve the bottle, then there will be a corking fee. If you take care of it yourself, then there is no charge.
By carrying the wine with you, you'll insure that is arrives safely AND avoid shipping charges too!
Enjoy your tour of the Epcot Food and Wine Festival as well as your DCL cruise!
