Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • My partner and I are going on the Disney Dream Jan 5 for my 30th birthday! I have heard that there is a sun deck on the concierge level, but is there a sun deck for those of us not staying on the concierge deck? Maybe one by the Quiet Cove area?

  • Welcome aboard, Jessica! Wow, only a few days left until you set sail on the Disney Dream! What a great way to kick off the beginning of 2014!

There are quite of few sun deck areas around the Disney Dream that are accessible by all guests. Besides the pool deck areas around the Donald and Mickey pools, there is lots of space in the sun and the shade near the Quiet Cove pool for adults, all on Deck 11. Don't forget almost all of Deck 12 just above the pool deck areas which includes many lounge chairs in the sun.

The Disney Dream also has a nice deck up in the sun by the Forward observation area on Deck 13. I've heard it referred to as Satellite Sun Deck, you can't miss it when you're there as there are three huge round satellite round domes there. Though the Dream's sister ship, the Disney Fantasy, has Satellite Falls with a wading pool attached in that same area, the Dream's area doesn't have a wading pool, but is still a nice big open spot to lay out in the sun.

Have fun with those final plans before you set sail next week, Jessica!
