Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • On the fence about trying DCL as adults with no kids. For dining times can we be assured to have a table for two or adult only table assigned to us. I don't want to skip the great dining venues that include kids just don't want to be seated w/kids.

  • Welcome back, Pamela! I'm happy to see you back with another question about planning a Disney cruise.

Disney Cruise Line is very happy to accommodate dining seating requests for their guests. While, of course, they cannot guarantee every request, they always do their best to fulfill their guests' wishes. My family likes to enjoy family time at dinner and we always request our own table, which we have happily found as we've arrived for each cruise. My son and I went on a Mommy-Son cruise, just the two of us, and enjoyed our own private table as well. I loved that, not because I don't want to get to know other guests, but because with so many activities, we can be off in all different directions during the day. We love to have dinner as our regrouping time to catch up with our family and spend that quality time together.

When you make your reservations, simply ask the agent with Disney Cruise Line (or your travel agent) to request a table for two. Disney Cruise Line features Rotational Dining. Each night, you'll get to dine in a different restaurant, rotating through all three throughout the cruise. I love that we get to experience each restaurant but that our servers stay with us throughout. We get to know them, they get to know us and our preferences and it's nice to have that familiar face with us each night no matter which restaurant we are assigned for that night. I'm sure you'll enjoy this feature as well. Don't forget to check out Palo and Remy, the Adult Exclusive restaurants onboard. Palo is my favorite! These are beautiful restaurants with romantic atmospheres and amazing food. Guests must be over 18 to dine there. While there is an additional cost to these two restaurants, I promise that it is worth every penny for the amazing experience you will have!

Pamela, please stop back and let me know how else I can help you!
