- Welcome aboard, Jessica! Well, I must say that your question is a tough one, because for my family, any Disney cruise is a magical one, no matter the itinerary or ship.
If you're looking at a Bahamian or Caribbean cruise in June or July of next year, you'll be considering either the Dream or the Fantasy, Disney's two newest and largest ships. Both are amazing, so you really can't go wrong with either one. During June and July, the Fantasy will be sailing to the Caribbean for 7-night cruises and the Dream will be off to the Bahamas for 3 and 4-night sailings. So, that will really be a major factor in determining which itinerary you choose, Jessica. I'd always opt for the longer sailing because I can never get enough time on a Disney ship!
The Caribbean sailings on the Fantasy actually go through the Bahamas too, with a stop at Disney's private island, Castaway Cay. Of all the ports, this is by far my favorite, and since you said all five of you are Disney-lovers, you will absolutely adore Castaway Cay. Then you'd just need to choose the Eastern or Western Caribbean itinerary. Take a look at Disney Cruise Line's Port Adventures, as perhaps one of them jumps out as a must-do, then that might help you make your decision as to which itinerary.
I hope that gives you a place to begin as you plan, Jessica. Please let me know what other questions I can help with as you dive into your vacation planning!
