Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Can I bring water or alcohol on board in a carry on?
  • - Asked by Tirzah on 3/13/2013
  • Welcome aboard, Tirzah! Yes, you may absolutely carry on your own bottled water or alcohol. That is one of the many perks of cruising with Disney Cruise Line.

We like to pick up a few of our favorite drinks or a bottle of wine to bring along with us each time we sail. It's really nice to be able to sit on your verandah and enjoy a glass of wine, or just have a drink as you get ready for dinner each night.

If you'd like to bring your own alcohol or bottled water onboard, it must be carried on by hand as you board the ship. Disney also highly recommends that you discard any drinks that are not consumed before you disembark, so as not to run into problems with customs. Also, keep in mind that if you would like to enjoy a bottle of your own wine at dinner in the restaurants, there is a corkage fee of about $20.

I hope that information helps as you continue to plan, Tirzah! Let me know if I can help with anything else before you set sail!
