Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Me and my husband are jeans and t-shirts kind of people. Is dressing up required on the ship?
- - Asked by gabriela from Colorado on 12/29/2011
- Hi Gabriela,
No worries! My husband is a tshirt and jeans/shorts kind of guy, and that's what he's in the majority of the time while we're cruising. You'll find that most Guests are dressed very casually during the day. Depending on the day, you may be exploring a port of call, swimming at Castaway Cay or just tanning by the pool. For me, it's lounging in the spa!
During the evening hours people do tend to dress up a little more. Men wear slacks and golf shirts; women will wear slacks and a nice top or a dress. Depending on the length of your cruise you may also have a formal night. Guests definitely dress up for that. I've attached Disney Cruise Line's Onboard Dining Attire webpage. You'll find all of the guidelines for dressing on a Disney cruise. You'll find that mostly everything is cruise casual.
I hope this helps! Please come back and let me know if you have any other questions. Happy sailing!
