Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are going on a cruise for a graduation present. We are traveling with and 18 year old and a 16 year old. They are both going to still be high school at the time of the cruise. Would the 18 year old be able to do the Wild Side Teen Adventure and Vibe?
- - Asked by Dannette from Florida on 12/24/2011
Yes, the 18-year-old will be welcome to join the Wild Side Teen Adventure and Vibe. However, you may have to make your reservations by phone -- 800-951-3532. The online reservations adhere to actual birthdates, and since the older teen is still in high school, s/he will still be eligible although you may have to explain the situation to the Disney Cruise Line reservation specialist. The good news in all of this is that the 18-year-old will also be able to enjoy adult amenities while on board, too. S/he will be welcome to book spa treatments, work out in the fitness center at any time, relax by the Quiet Cove Pool, make reservations at Palo and even party it up in the adult entertainment district. It really could be the "best of both worlds"...although that reference is sure to make a teen's eyes roll!
Congratulations on your upcoming Disney Cruise and your graduate -- have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.
