Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hello, my family and I will be going on our first cruise ever to Bahamas and Castaway Cay in January. We have been told several different things about passports. Some say we need them, others say we don't. Can you help me with this? Thanks!

- Ahoy Jillene!
How wonderful that you'll be sailing with Disney Cruise Line for your first cruise! I tell you, you'll be so spoiled that you'll be ruined for other cruise lines....my family and I were!
You can travel with passports, passport cards (which are less expensive), and your original US birth certificates with the raised seal. If you plan on using your birth certificates, anyone over the age of 18 needs to show a government issued photo ID such as a Driver License.
Here are Disney Cruise Line's travel documentation guidelines. Have a wonderful trip Jillene, and thanks for visiting the Moms Panel!
