Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • I have 4 grandchildren and I would like nothing better than to go with them on a Disney Cruise. What is the best age for kids to go on a 7 day cruise? Is there something on the ship to keep the Grammie and Papa busy during the day. thank you Grammie B

  • First off, good for you! The Disney Cruise line is one that is ideally suited not just to kids, but kids of ALL ages!

So what age should the grandchildren be? Wait until they are all at least 3 or older and potty trained. While children under 3 can stay in the Flounder's Reef Nursery, it is an extra charge, space is limited, and it is hardly the interactive experience that the older kids are getting.

As for Grammie and Papa, there are a lot of great activities, from live shows, movies, spa treatments, sports, port excursions, shopping, and more. The food and beverage organized courses are of particular fun. The only notable omission is a casino. No gambling here, but with so many other unique experiences, you will never miss it.

    Have fun!
