Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel

  • Hi again! Thanks for answering my previous question! Do I have to register my 5 year old for the kids club in advance? We put a request for a crib for my baby and I am not sure what size of sheet I need to bring, crib size or portable play pen size? Thank

  • Welcome back, Arezoo!

You're quite welcome for answering your Disney Cruise question -- that's what I'm here for!  Yet, after tomorrow, two new Disney Cruise Moms will be answering questions for Mickey's sea-faring guests, and they will be happy to follow up on any other things you are wondering about before you sail. It's been my pleasure helping you plan your vacation thus far!

You can register your 5-year-old for Disney's Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab online at the DisneyCruise.com Planning Center by pulling up your reservation once it has been paid in full.  However, it's not completely necessary.  I've registered my kids once we were at the home port and once we came on board with no problems at all.  You just need to complete certain information about them for the counselors, establish a security password and receive a Mickey Band (which, of course, you can't do online anyway).

For your baby, you don't have to worry about bringing sheets.  Your stateroom host or hostess will take care of that, and if you want the sheets changed every morning, you can request that with him/her personally on board.  No problem. Most of the time, your stateroom host/hostess will provide you with a playpen style crib, but there are a limited number of standard cribs available if you so choose.  In addition, you can also have baby supplies delivered to your stateroom prior to your arrival by ordering them from Babies Travel Lite -- the website has a direct link from the DisneyCruise.com Planning Center.

I hope this has helped you plan, and I might be only second to you in excitement about your upcoming Disney Cruise! Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation.

    Bon voyage, my friend!

    Andi
