Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We are considering taking a cruise! My concern is we have a 7 yo and a 2 yo. If we decided to do an adult activity what is available for our kids? I would prefer for them to be together even though they have an age gap. Is this possible?

- Ahoy Rochelle!
Welcome back to the Moms Panel! I'm excited to hear you are thinking about embarking on a high sea adventure with Captain Mickey! I know your crew will love it just as much (if not more) than your land based Disney vacations! There are plenty of adult-only offerings onboard that I hope you will take advantage of on your cruise. The youth programming begins at age three and up so if you want your kiddos to be together then you will need to wait until he/she is within a few months of her third birthday and potty-trained. The Oceaneer Club and Lab counselors cannot assist young cruisers in the bathroom so being potty trained is a huge factor in being allowed to check in to these youth spaces. If you can split them up, you will be able to utilize the nursery facilities onboard at It's A Small World Nursery (Fantasy, Dream, & Magic) or Flounder's Reef (Wonder). The trained childcare counselors are fabulous, and there is plenty to do such as crafts, story time, movie time, character visits, games, and free play! A nominal hourly fee does apply and reservations need to be made either online prior to sailing or once aboard. My son was around two on our first sailing, and he loved visiting the nursery while my daughter experienced the Oceaneer Club and Lab. Since there is two-way glass at the nursery entrance you can stop by anytime to check in on your little sailor.
I'm so glad you stopped by with your question, Rochelle! Please let us know if you think of anything else as you plan for your magical voyage!
