Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Hi, we are going on the Disney Dream in November 2011. Should I get a passport or passport card for my 2 year old son. I know that it is not required but, am not sure if I should get him one. Thanks

- Hi, Kari!
Yay! I'm so excited that you have booked a cruise aboard Disney's Dream! You and your family are going to have the time of your lives!
Actually, every US citizen needs a passport to visit the Bahamas and the Caribbean -- including children, babies and toddlers. As a mom, you really don't want any "hang ups" involving your children in Customs in any country. Therefore, my advice is to start that process now. Children's US passports are usually good for five years and are well worth the added expense and hassle for peace of mind when you're traveling out of the country.
Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
