Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- We have been to WDW over 8 times and love it. We are going to Disneyland for the first time in June ,my question is a 2 day one park ticket enough to see the parks? Also which beach are located near? Any other suggestions for seeing the most of the parks

- Hi there, Julie and congrats on your upcoming visit to California and my second home, Disneyland!!!
June is a fabulous time to visit The Happiest Place on Earth and depending on the time of the month you visit, you may be among the first to visit California Adventure Park's newest expansion featuring Cars Land and Buena Vista Street, which both open on June 15.
While I do think you'll have sufficient time to visit both parks with a 2-day base ticket, I highly recommend springing for the park hopper if you can swing it. This way, you'll have the freedom to "hop" back and forth as the spirit moves you which can be nice since the entrances to Disneyland and California Adventure are merely steps apart.
The closest beaches are Newport Beach Huntington Beach which are located about a 20-30 minute drive from the Disneyland Resort. To get to these lovely beaches, just head South down Harbor (N/S Cross Street with Disneyland) until it ends at Newport Blvd (SR 55). Turn Right, heading South on the Pacific Coast Highway, and you'll run into Newport Beach. Huntington is about 5 miles North on the PCH.
As far as maximizing your days in the parks, you must have a plan and you must arrive early...at rope drop if possible. Plan to eat counter service meals rather than sit-down since your time is limited and table-service meals can take up a lot of precious time. Also, be sure to scope out attractions that offer FastPass and take advantage of this great service!
