Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- My family are coming from Seattle, Washington. Which airport can you recommend us to take(closer to DiL), John Wayne, Anaheim or the LA international airport? Is there a shuttle bus in either airports that can drop us to Disneyland Resort hotel?

- Hi, Juanita!
Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I’m so glad to hear that you and your family will be visiting the Disneyland Resort soon.
The closest major airport to the Disneyland Resort is John Wayne Airport (SNA). At just 12 miles away from the resort, it’s probably the most convenient. The other most commonly used option is Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), which is a 35-mile drive from the resort. It’s busier than John Wayne Airport, but it has more flight options and several car rental companies are located on the property. Because it’s a larger airport, you may be able to find better deals or more preferable flight itineraries.
For a convenient way to get from either of those two airports to the Disneyland Resort, you can use a shared shuttle van service. There are various companies offering this service that can be arranged in advance. Another economical option for families is Disneyland Resort Express, a private bus service that offers large, comfortable tour buses. There is a per-person fee, but buses run continuously and no reservation is required.
I hope this information is helpful, Juanita, and that you have a pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please don’t hesitate to ask me any other questions you may have as you continue to plan your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
