Answered Question - Disney Parks Moms Panel
- Family will be at DL last week December. Is it recommended to fast pass or dinner package for World of Color? Also, heard there is Candlelight Procession in Calif. Is there, If so, details please. Love the panel.

- Hi, Eugene!
Hooray—your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth will be here before you know it! I hope you’re excited for all of the holiday magic that awaits you at the Disneyland Resort.
You will need FASTPASS tickets to see World of Color. There are several World of Color dining packages available that include tickets for reserved viewing sections in Paradise Park. It’s a great way to enjoy a wonderful meal and secure tickets for the show, so I do recommend taking advantage of this opportunity. Some Guests prefer the tickets that come with the Carthay Circle Restaurant dining option, which offer a spot in the circular portion of Paradise Park perfectly aligned with the main focal point of the show. Both Wine Country Trattoria and Ariel’s Grotto offer a 3-course prix fixe dinner including tickets for World of Color. “World of Color – Winter Dreams,” a special holiday version of the show, will begin November 15 at Disney California Adventure Park.
The Candlelight Processional is an annual event at the Disneyland Resort, a tradition that actually began at Disneyland in 1955. In the recent past, the event has included a celebrity narrator presenting the Biblical Christmas story along with a large choir and orchestra performing traditional carols. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for specific dates and details as December approaches.
I hope this helps, Eugene, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort! Please feel free to write back with more questions as you put the finishing touches on your vacation.
Wishing you magic,
